Mission brief; 201906.02 Captain's Log, Supplemental: It appears we are now going to get into a skirmish I had wished to avoid. Commander Tanarek came bargin into this system and there was no deterring this outcome. To make things worse, my away team is under attack on the planet surface and there is nothing I can do about it at the moment. END LOG For the Sim: Again, a small amout of time has passed between sims, maybe a half hour, at the most. Commander Lobren and his security team are embroiled in a gun-fight with Romulan forces on the planet, and the XL is now going to have to defend herself against a Scimitar-class warbird, which outguns the Charleston-class starship. It is still unknown if any help is on the way. IMPORTAN MESSAGE: The Core is officially gone. All posts will strictly be by email until the new site is up and running. One thing of concern to me is that all of our characters may have to be re-created on the new site. I was hoping to avoid that from happening, but Ambassador Aronax refused turning over the personnel data citing possible sensitive unencrypted data. IMPORTANT NOTE: It is important to note, unless your character is on the bridge, or otherwise indicated by command, you have no prior knowledge of the alien/menace we face. Also, please, keep your character nick as short as possible so as to not have it take up more than one line. A good example would be “Ens_Nick, or Ltjg_Nick, etc. Your character’s full name is on the crew roster and is not always required in the chat room. Thank you for these considerations.
